Puck Previews: Sharks try for six; Patrick Roy sounds off

Preview: San Jose Sharks at New York Rangers, 7 p.m. ET. The Sharks head into the newly renovated Madison Square Garden looking to end their six-game road trip undefeated. Meanwhile, the Rangers are still looking for their first win at home after losses to Toronto and Ottawa.

Preview: Winnipeg Jets at Florida Panthers, 7 p.m. ET. As the Jets visit South Florida tonight, goaltender Ondrej Pavelec will look to continue his strong play at BankAtlantic Center. Pavelec is a career 3-0-0 with a 1.66 goals-against average in the building. Florida lost four of six to Winnipeg/Atlanta last season, but head into this matchup winners of two of their last three.

Preview: Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks, 8:30 p.m. ET. Nashville goes for their third straight as they start a five-game road trip. Mike Fisher did not make the trip for the Predators and neither did Sergei Kostitsyn. Pekka Rinne, who notched his 100th career NHL victory on Saturday, is expected to face off against Corey Crawford.

I don't know if they have the right people in place to take care of an incident such as this one. I look at Vincent Arseneau and he received only eight games for a blindside hit to head."It's priceless. Raymond Bolduc (QMJHL disciplinary prefect), I like him as a person, but he's too good a person. He has the misfortune of having to be severe ... the action we saw tonight, one must no longer see that in hockey."[Buzzing the Net]

Puck Buddy Comment of the Day: "Brad" on Emil Garipov's KHL team of choice:

Ak Bars? Really?

"Hey, you wanna play goalie for Ak Bars?" "No! It's a trap!"

Bold prediction: San Jose wraps up their road trip undefeated. Give Joey Pavelski a trick tonight.
