VOORHEES, NJ ? As surreal as it was to see Jaromir Jagr doing Jagr-like things while wearing a Philadelphia Flyers jersey at the start of NHL training camps, it was equally surreal to see Max Talbot holding court with the media in anything but black and gold.
Here's Talbot on suddenly being a rival to the Pittsburgh Penguins and discussing that with Jagr; on Chris Pronger vs. Sidney Crosby as captains; and a bit about being on HBO "24/7" for a second straight season:
Money quote from Talbot, in talking with Jagr:
"I told him I was kind of glad he [didn't] sign in Pittsburgh because he got a little bit of heat more than me. They came after him as [Enemy] No. 1 more than me."
And as you heard at the end of the clip: There will be another Christmas sweater on HBO "24/7" this season.
