Mason Raymond 'Shows Off' With Spin-o-Rama

The spin-o-rama move is starting to become old hat in the shootout and on penalty shots. It seems everybody is using it -- or some variation of it -- when given the opportunity. The latest player to use the move is Vancouver Canucks forward Mason Raymond during his teams 4-3 win on Tuesday. The Canucks were involved in a tight game with a suddenly difficult Islanders team that had won seven of its previous 10 games, ending up in the shootout after Kevin Bieksa tied the game with just a little over five minutes to play in regulation.

The shootout was ultimately won on a Ryan Kesler tally in the third round, but it was the goal that Raymond scored in the first round that received most of the attention. It also received some gentle criticism from Islanders goaltender Kevin Poulin, who had stopped 48 shots through regulation and overtime. Here is the goal...
