Hey, remember Oscar Moller? He played 87 games over three seasons with the Los Angeles Kings before bolting for Skellefte� AIK of the Swedish Elite League after last season.
In an early December loss to Lule� Hockeyf�rening, Moller was on the receiving end of an unusual (and quite awesome) pass: Moller lost his stick in the offensive zone; his teammate returned it to its rightful owner by flipping it with his own stick back to Moller, all while transitioning to defense. This is eight seconds you'll be happy you sacrificed:

The dude who passed the stick? According to reader Petter Carnbro, it's Bud Holloway -- the leading scorer from the LA Kings' AHL affiliate the Manchester Monarchs last season.
Yep, these were AHL teammates connecting on this play.
Heck of a highlight ? and something that would have been totally illegal in the NHL. Please recall Henrik Sedin of the Vancouver Canucks getting an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in Oct. 2011 for using his stick to pass a teammate's stick back to them. From Kerry Fraser of TSN (and via Reddit Hockey), it would violate Rule 10.3:
"A player who has lost or broken his stick may only receive a stick at his own players' bench or be handed one at his players' bench or be handed one from a teammate on the ice. A player (Henrik�Sedin) will be penalized if he throws, tosses, slides or shoots a stick to a teammate on the ice."
Boo! No fun league!
