Ryan Kesler Gets Pissed, Dangles Through Coyotes Defense

The Vancouver Canucks continued to steamroll the NHL's Western Conference on Wednesday night by thumping the Phoenix Coyotes, 6-0. The game featured a two-goal effort from center Ryan Kesler as he reached the 30-goal plateau for the first time in his NHL career, further cementing his status as one of the best two-way players in the league.

His first goal of the night -- which extended the Canucks lead to 4-0 -- came early in the third period when he pulled off a nifty toe-drag around diving Coyotes defenseman Adrian Aucoin and then swiftly drilled a shot under the crossbar, beating goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov.

Great move, and a nice example of how Kesler isn't just a gritty defensive player that gets under the oppositions skin (though, he is pretty good at all of those things, too), but also a skilled offensive player that can put the puck in the back of the net in a variety of ways.
