Former NHL goaltender and long-time analyst Darren Pang was on TSN Tuesday night discussing the play of early-20's defensemen Alex Pietrangelo of the St. Louis Blues and P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens. When talking about the recent struggles of Subban, who has been a healthy scratch for Montreal, Pang brought up the play of Pietrangelo, at which point he had a rather unfortunate slip of the tongue.

The slip: Instead of saying he (Pietrangelo) does everything on the ice and off the ice "the right way," it came out at first as "white" way, before quickly correcting himself.

Pietrangelo, of course, is white; Subban is not.
