With the All-Star break in the books and the Feb. 28 trade deadline on the not to distant horizon, the Kaberle trade watch is on and like previous years not much has changed.
Kaberle had a no-movement clause and he's set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
Given how the chances of the Toronto Maple Leafs of making the playoffs are slim to none, logic would dictate that Kaberle would want out and would want to play in the playoffs for the first time in a handful of years.
All signs point to Kaberle not giving general manager Brian Burke a list of teams he'd be willing to go to, and why should he?
