PITTSBURGH -- The delayed start time hasn't had a negative impact on the festive atmosphere around Heinz Field on Saturday night -- most people seem to prefer the later start -- as legions of fans from Pittsburgh and Washington, as well as fans from other NHL cities, take in all of the festivities at the fourth annual Winter Classic. The night is still a bit on the warm side, at least as far as January in Pittsburgh is concerned, and as of an hour before the drop of the puck there is no rain.
The tailgating scene outside of the stadium was incredible four hours before faceoff, as every parking lot on Pittsburgh's North Shore was loaded with fans, some of which didn't even have tickets to the game and just wanted to take in the atmosphere. In case you're wondering what sort of view the fans with tickets will have once they enter the stadium to watch the game, here's a few quick shots from different vantage points around Heinz Field.
The best seats in the house: Anything in the upper deck. Worst? Front row.
