Every Tuesday two of our hockey writers will discuss one topic: it's the 2-on-1. This week, A.J. Perez and Chris Botta discuss the teams that have gotten off to unexpected starts.Chris Botta: Remember this time a year ago, A.J.? The Colorado Avalanche were the talk of the NHL. Just about everyone projected a finish in the bottom-three of the league standings, yet Joe Sacco's team flew out of the gate. I don't think we have a real stunner yet -- we're still less than two weeks into the season -- but there have been some nice surprises. It's time to put all your cards on the table, A.J.
Let's start with the 4-1-0 Tampa Bay Lightning. Have they shown enough already to convince you they'll be back in the playoffs?
