Steve Yzerman continued his impressive summer of rebuilding the Tampa Bay Lightning by signing veteran center Dominic Moore to a two-year contract on Friday. The Lightning will be Moore's eighth team in his seven-year career (he's also spent time with New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Buffalo, Minnesota, Florida and Montreal) and is coming off a season that saw him score 10 goals to go with 18 assists split between Florida and Montreal. After signing with the Panthers as a free agent in the offseason, he was part of a mid-season trade that sent him to the Canadiens in exchange for a second-round pick. In Montreal he proved to be a useful role player during its run to the Eastern Conference Final. He scored four goals in the playoffs, including the game-winner during their Game 7 win in Washington. Two years ago he recorded a career-high 45 points with Buffalo and Toronto.
