Jamie Langenbrunner Traded to Dallas

After being a healthy scratch for Thursday's game against Philadelphia, New Jersey Devils captain Jamie Langenbrunner probably saw the writing on the wall.

With a no-trade clause in his contract, Langenbrunner sat at home Thursday, waiting for New Jersey general manager Lou Lamoriello to pull the trigger on a deal and ask him for approval.

That has happened. Langenbrunner was dealt Friday morning to the Dallas Stars, the team with which he started his NHL career. New Jersey received a conditional third-round pick in exchange for Langenbrunner, 35.
