Zdeno Chara Celebrates First Career Hat Trick (Video)

The Boston Bruins had an offensive explosion on Monday afternoon, routing the Carolina Hurricanes by a 7-0 margin. The game included goaltender Tim Thomas recording his league-leading seventh shutout of the season as he continues to remain on top of the NHL's leaderboard for goalies in just about every statistical category. He's also continuing to roll full steam ahead for what looks to be his second career Vezina Trophy

Also starring for the Bruins on Monday: massive defenseman Zdeno Chara who recorded his first career hat trick in the win, tallying goals eight, nine and 10 for the season.

Here's video of his third goal of the game, a power play tally late in the third period, complete with his celebration near center ice where he pretended to take off a hat and throw it.
