Brian Campbell Injury Might Mean Rookie Nick Leddy Makes Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks have gone through quite the overhaul during the offseason. The blue line was largely unaffected, though. Back are key players Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, Brian Campbell, and Niklas Hjalmarsson. Only Brent Sopel departed.

However, the team suffered a blow on defense Saturday, when it was announced that Campbell would miss around a month with a bad knee.

Campbell was injured Friday on a hit by Pittsburgh forward Eric Tangradi. He is scheduled to have an MRI Sunday.
