After missing time last season due to a hip injury that limited him to just 25 games as
Niklas Backstrom's primary backup in Minnesota,
Josh Harding suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee on Friday night. The injury will likely cost him his entire 2010-11 campaign,
according to Wild beat writer Mike Russo of the Star Tribune.
The injury occurred with just over six minutes to play in the first period of Minnesota's 5-0 loss against the
St. Louis Blues when
Brad Boyes was tripped up and landed awkwardly on Harding's leg. He was instantly writhing in pain and motioning for the team's trainers.
