Matthew Hulsizer Says Coyotes Purchase Still on Track

Hedge fund manager Matthew Hulsizer met Monday with the executive committee of the NHL board of governors, as he moves forward with his plan to buy the Phoenix Coyotes.

Hulsizer, from Chicago, met with the group in Palm Beach, Fla., and says he hopes to have the sale of the team -- which is currently in the control of the NHL -- completed by the end of the year.

He still has to work out a lease agreement with the City of Glendale for Jobing.com Arena, but there is a deal set to go before the city council there Dec. 14.
