CALGARY, Alta. -- The mere mention of Curtis Glencross' name during this past training camp was sure to get Calgary Flames' head coach Brent Sutter expounding on the topic of consistency.Suffice to say, Sutter grew weary last season of his winger showing up some games and being invisible the next. That, he deemed, was the 27-year-old's biggest detriment.
Four games into the 2010 National Hockey League campaign, Glencross has undoubtedly been one of the Flames' top forwards, which only proves that the fellow from Kindersley, Sask., is working hard on shoring up his main deficiency.
