Cam Ward is capable of being a one-man team for the Carolina Hurricanes, dominating the opposition and stealing games in net. He's been a rock for them in the playoffs, and when he's on his game, can be as good as any goaltender in the NHL.

On Friday, he turned aside all 37 shots he faced against the Boston Bruins to help lead the 'Canes to a 3-0 win. Carolina was outshot by a 37-21 margin for the game, but the play of Ward, as well as some timely goals from Jussi Jokinen, Tuomo Ruutu and exciting rookie Jeff Skinner (the game-winning goal), gave the Hurricanes a chance to take a win out of Boston and snap what had been a three-game losing streak.

With the game still scoreless in the first period, Ward had to make a series of big saves (he faced 12 shots in the first period) including this athletic play to get himself into position to rob Boston's Nathan Horton.
