Sean Avery's Usual Self Starts Huge Fracas With Oilers

The New York Rangers had a lot going their way Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden. For starters, they blew out the Edmonton Oilers 8-2. Even better, a finally-healthy Marian Gaborik announced his presence with a hat trick, marking his first three goals of the season.

Of course, not everything came up roses for New York.

Forward Sean Avery has a history of being a pest, though he's also shown the ability to use this history to his advantage in big games. Sunday, he justified virtually every negative word anyone has ever said about him by committing an act so insanely selfish and gutless that it can barely be described in words.
