Great Commercials in NHL History: Can't Stop Brind'Amour

Great commercials in NHL history: A look back at the absurdity and hilarity of NHL advertising campaigns.

The NHL doesn't always do a good job marketing its sport or players -- understatement of the century? -- but the Nike Goalie campaign that ran throughout the late 1990s was more than solid (actually, all of the Nike hockey commercials from that time period were quite solid). The commercials usually featured a goalie driven mad by his inability to stop the game's best players at that time (Sergei Fedorov and Mats Sundin were featured in these campaigns quite a bit).

One such example: the "Bank Robbery" that was centered on Rod Brind'Amour's dominance of fictional goalie Lee Worley.
